For us the people create the stem because they are the basis for everything. Only when people exist, they can create communities. In each community the members have their own identity. This can be very different, also between each member of one community. The sun and the rain symbolise the different identities. It depends on the surrounding of each individual which identity is the strongest.

KEY SKILLS/COMPETENCIES
I am used to work in a team and therefore I developed the skill of cooperation really well. I can see if people need help and I am doing the best to support them.
Me as a student of Anglistics and Americanistics developed a good communicative competence. Furthermore I worked in several social jobs where you are only successful when you have good skills in communication. German is my mother tongue but I can also speak fluently English what is really important in our globalised world.
I am really good in creating new ideas and concepts. And especially for me as a future primary school teacher it is important to be creative. Only then you can build up new globalised projects.
I am open- minded because I travelled a lot. And so I had much contact to people from other countries and cultures. |

Reflection on challenge 5
Before this challenge I thought that people, in the process of globalisation, become more and more national and transnational. And therefore I was really surprised that my personal identity is mainly a local one. I haven’t thought about the different identities before and so I have learned about so many things, I can also use as a foreign language teacher.
Anyway, I think people can teach globalised although their identity is more local. For me it was really interesting to compare the experiences and identities in my working group because they differed so much. That is one of the reasons why I think my study here in Denmark as an Erasmus-student helps me to become more open- minded and to think more global.
For me as a future teacher it is important to know that several identities exist. In schools you have to cope with children who have different social backgrounds and therefore their identities can differ as well. If you ask me, it is important to create an awareness that people are different but in the process of globalisation many things become hybrid. Children can learn about this and take the advantages out of this process.
This challenge was really helpful for me. I got a new vie on globalisation as well as on my own life and identity.
